Welcome!
Brought together by the Big Band passion of Henry K in 2003, the B# Big Band is increasingly being enjoyed by more & more jazz, swing and dance fans all around Melbourne & the globe.
B# are a dance band, a lounge band and a functions band – a band that guarantees to get toes a-tapping and hearts a-pounding (Hey, not just cos of the music – you should see these guys! )
The band consists of Melbourne’s highest calibre and experienced jazz and session musicians – including those that are regular band members in various TV shows and theatre productions. Combined with B#’s ability to re-create the magic of the 30s, 40s, and 50s swing eras, through to horn filled 60s and 70s dance anthems, you can be assured entertainment of the highest quality and professionalism should you book them for a function, or see them out ‘n’ about in the public spotlight.
